(some stains and an old stamp on title page, marginal damp stains on some text lvs). Margins of ff. D1-2 somewhat shorter, but no text loss. The book has wide margins, has more the aspect of a quarto book. Modern binding reusing older limp vellum

The Latin story of Jason and the Argonauts and their quest for the Golden Fleece. ""This 1st-century AD Latin version of the earlier Greek epic features exotic lands, wondrous monsters and a sea voyage over swells of young love. Valerius Flaccus lent sharp Roman refinements and erotic passion to the tale"" Repr. of the 1498 Bologna edition of the classical Latin epic poem on Jason and the Golden Fleece. The printer printed another issue in 1501.
