Cut from a small-size rubricated Latin prayerbook with text on both sides in a gothic hand. Nice small miniature showing Saint Catherine of Alexandria (with wheel) defeating Emperor Maxentius. The miniature within a gilt ruled border with a crowned Catherine dressed in red and blue and the crowned emperor dressed in violet. The protagonists are portrayed on a floor of green tiles, and standing before a grey wall under a red and gold ceiling
