Single large leaf, with a large initial 'O' (opening "Omnes gentes plaudite ...", Psalm 47) in green, dark pink and blue acanthus leaves on a burnished gold ground, enclosing a fleshy flowerbud, and terminating in the margin in hairline foliage with coloured leaves and flowers and gold bezants encircled with hair-like penstrokes, one-line initials in alternate red or blue, red rubric, written in single column of 15 lines of a fine liturgical bookhand, later folio number '45' in upper outer corner of text-frame on recto, small spots and stains, somewhat cockled, framed in glass on both sides, approximately 510 by 360mm
