First edition of a collection of Lent sermons on the parable of the Prodigal Son by the Franciscan Johann Meder (1430-1518). Laudatory poem by Sebastian Brant on verso of title. Printed in 2 columns, in gothic type, 34 ll. Woodcut armorial mark of Furter at the end. The book is remarkable for the 18 full-page woodcuts by the Master of Heintz Narr, Dürers's main collaborator in the famous illustration of Sebastian Brant's 1494 Narrenschiff. - 'die besten Arbeiten des Künstlerkreises um Dürer' (Winkler).
