Three single-sheet documents, the first and third listed below with near-identical opening penwork initials and almost certainly by the same scribe, the second listed below with another penwork initial, folded at base with turn-ups cut for seal suspension (all seals missing), all with folds, small scuffs and stains, overall in good condition and on fine vellum, 187+18 by 315mm., 166+25 by 320mm. and 125+15 by 285mm

Descriptions by the book and manuscript dealer, Bernard Rosenthal (1920-2017) accompanying each document here, show that he acquired these charters from the old stock of his uncle, Ludwig Rosenthal (1840-1928) in the 1970s, and his belief that the pencilled stock numbers on their reverses are those of his uncle's from around 1900. In addition, a pencil note on the back of each gives his uncle's initials ""L. R."" and the apparent dates of ""Dec. 20"", ""Dec. 23"" and ""Dec. 17"", respectively.

This small archive includes: (i) an agreement between the master bakers (""Pekchen"") and their apprentices (""Pekchenknechte"") in Eggenfelden, mentioning work-rules, fines, special compensation for baking extra large loaves on Christmas and Easter, carrying dough to the oven and removing the finished loaves, and servicing the oven, dated 1456; (ii) the Will of Geor[g]ius Zacharie, deacon and priest of the community of Eggenfelden (here ""Egkenfelden""), ordering cash payments at certain times of the year to various persons, the hospital at Burghausen, the local priest and his servant and the head teacher (""Schuelmaister""), as well as the saying of masses for the deceased and his father and mother, dated 1463; (iii) the will of Andre Hirsch and his mother Katherina, widow of Martin Hirsch of Eggenfelden, bequeathing an annual sum and a house to the baker's guild (""Pekchenzech"") in Eggenfelden, with the members of the guild to say mass in their chapel for the souls of the deceased, dated 10 November 1466
