Two single leaves: (a) with a large initial 'D' in blue on dark pink grounds, enclosing swirls of coloured ivyleaves on brightly burnished gold grounds and edged in gold, foliate extensions filling all borders with gold and coloured bars with baubles mounted in their bodies and rows of parallel ivyleaves, two acanthus leaves edged in gold at corners and a snarling dragon with a long lacertine body, one drollery in the bas-de-page formed from a delicately painted grey bipedal animal's body and a bearded human head wearing a long cowl, other coloured and illuminated 2-line initials in same style, one-line initials in gold on blue and pink grounds, red rubrics, text in single column of 12 lines; and
(b) another with a very large initial 'D' in similar style, again with full border of coloured and gold bars with parallel ivyleaves, but with coloured pots mounted on the bars, and two mirrored dragons with interlocking necks at the head of the page, two sprays of hairline foliage terminating in red and blue flowers emerging from the edges of the large initial, other details as other leaf; trimmed at top with losses to borders there, small spots and stains, else excellent condition, each leaf: 147 by 109mm
