Single leaf, with a large arch-topped miniature of Christ standing in a grassy landscape, dressed only in a diaphanous white loincloth, between two angels, as he displays his stigmata, and one angel tenderly clasps its hand over the spear-wound in his side to staunch the bleeding, all before a pale burgundy background with liquid gold tracery, edged in thin gold, and with the text set within a wide border of coloured tri-lobed leaves and red fruit on gold, a full border of stylised foliage and acanthus leaf sprays, all growing from a grassy hillock and an ornamental golden pot at the foot of the page, the whole border enclosed within thin gold frame, one large initial 'D' in blue enclosing similarly stylised coloured foliage sprouting from a coloured pot on gold grounds, one decorated vertical text border on reverse, one- and 2-line initials and line-fillers in same designs also on reverse, text in single column of 5 lines on recto and 17 lines on verso, of a good late gothic bookhand, small spots and stains, else in excellent condition, 240 by 170mm
