Double-page folding woodcut view of the Circus Maximus in Rome. Full-page woodcut with celestial spheres on p. 523. (incl. blanks Ii8 and Sss8; minor marginal soiling and toning, tears in folds of woodcut). 17th-c. blind-stamped Dutch vellum, covers with large central ornament within frames, spine with 5 raised bands and morocco label (joints splitting at head, lower flyleaves gone).
