First edition in the Low Countries of Erasmus' plea for Church unity, dedicated to Julius Pflug of Eytra (1499-1564). He was the last Catholic bishop of Naumburg and shared Erasmus' concern of irenicism. Added in a short Precatio pro pace ecclesiae, dedicated to the Cologne professor of law Johann Rinck (d. 1566).
