Seated king with his regalia
Large woodcut (16 x 14 cm), coloured green, red and yellow, and showing a seating king with his regalia. The Latin text agrees with that of the 'Chronica Hungarorum' of Johannes de Thurocz. It is printed in gothic type of 36 ll. However, neither type nor illustrations corresponds with the identical text in the three editions known (Buda 1473, Brünn 1488 and Augsburg 1488) - in any case not with text and illustrations in the digitized copies linked to USTC
