Two single leaves, each with text in a single column of 14 lines of a rounded Romanesque hand, written without biting curves and just perceptibly above topline, and with a single use of the et-ligature used at the end of a word (this practice rare even by the eleventh century, and almost completely absent after, but with some continuing use in regional French manuscripts in the eleventh century: see, for example Bloomsbury Auctions' first Schøyen sale, 8 July 2020, lot 31, and that here perhaps copied over from an earlier exemplar), capitals touched in bright red, red rubrics, twelve large red initials in angular penstrokes and with baubles mounted in their bodies, each with compartments of yellow wash following Carolingian style, small scuffs and discoloured areas, small spots, slightly cockled, else in excellent condition, each leaf: 220 by 150mm
