Five cuttings, each with remains of a single column manuscript, with approximately 11 lines of a rounded early-gothic bookhand, red rubrics, simple red initials, the larger initials with delicate foliage infill or penwork decoration, all recovered from reuse in a later binding and hence with scuffs, stains, folds, splits and worm damage at edges, overall in fair condition, each approximately 110 by 118mm

From a once fine and handsome liturgical codex
