Single leaf, with a very large initial 'R' (opening ""Resurrexi et adhuc tecum ..."", the introit for Easter Sunday) in soft pink, with geometric forms overlaid in lighter hues, on dark green grounds with liquid gold sprays overlaid, the whole within a realistic gold and blue frame, and with long and thin acanthus leaf sprays meandering into the upper and inner-vertical border, three large ornate blue initials, smaller initials in red or blue, red rubrics, contemporary folio no. 'CIII' at head of recto, text in double column of 29 lines of an angular late gothic German bookhand, somewhat scuffed and stained in places, with some folds and small holes, overall in fair and presentable condition, 350 by 270mm
