Large rectangular cutting, with remains of double column of 33 remaining lines in a professional angular early gothic bookhand, remains of a single red initial and one large red initial 'F' (opening ""Factum est …"", the beginning of Samuel 11:1) with a long trailing tail ending in simple foliate swirls (also accompanied by the original guide-letter 'f' in the margin), one small addition in what would have been the lowermost margin, recovered from reuse on a later binding and hence with stains, scuffs, small holes and tears to edges, most of reverse illegible, 322 by 220mm
