Single large leaf, with text in single column of 20 lines of a high-grade bookhand (written above topline), red rubrics, one-line initials in alternate red or blue, line-fillers in foliage in the same, one large burnished gold initial 'I' (opening ""In te domine speravi …"", Psalm 30 in the Vulgate) which ends at its foot in a bird's head with open beak, with coloured penwork foliage spilling from the beak and filling the lower margin, while other foliate coloured penwork encloses the upper part of the initial, some small spots and stains, one long split to inner blank margin, slightly cockled, else in good condition, 238 by 167mm
