Single leaf with an arch-topped miniature enclosing a clean-shaven and tonsured bishop dressed in rich gold and red robes, standing before an altar with a carved wooden altar-piece, with an attendant to one side, as he administers the Eucharist to a nobleman who kneels before him, all within a gothic interior, full decorated border with cuttings of sprays of realistic foliage and flowers and a bird on dull gold grounds in the trompe d'oeil Ghent-Bruges style, a few small spots and stains, trimmed to edge of miniature, overall in good condition, 85 by 60mm.; framed in card mount (and reverse not examined)
