Prudentius (c. 348-405), originally from Roman Spain (probably Tarragona), is widely regarded as the greatest Christian Latin poet of Late Antiquity. His works beautifully combine classical poetic form with early Christian themes. A superb edition distinguished by Bodoni's celebrated typography and editorial care.
