Richly gilt red morocco binding, gilt roll-tooled borders (ribbons round rosettes) surrounding a rectangular gilt panel with borders consisting of pattern of triangles, with leafy branches and drawer-handle tools on the inside of borders, a semis of flowers and one bird, surrounding a central vase with flower, a pigeon holding an olive branch in top section of panel, a semi-circular onlay beige morocco section in top and a triangular onlay green morocco section at lower end of panel, gilt spine with green mor. letterpiece, marbled endpapers, a.e.g (Upper joint starting; first hinge weak, corners sl. rubbed. Otherwise very fine)"
