Illustrated with an identical woodcut portrait on the general title and the part titles, a double-page woodcut in part 4 and 5 identical engravings at the beginning of the important texts (= the Judith and Holofernes of Virainia de Verzlo engraved by Claude Mellan, 1598-1688). Age-toned. Early 19th century mottled calf bindings, covers with gilt ruled border, richly gilt flat spines, all edges gilt, marbled endleaves. Good ruled copy
