Cuttings from two leaves from a Processional, in Latin, manuscript on paper
[Low Countries or perhaps France
c. 1500]
€300 - €500

Two cuttings affixed together (one upside down) and backed with paper printed with flowerheads to form a later binding, in total 6 lines of text in a Gothic bookhand, with music on a 4-line red stave (rastrum: 19mm.), rubrics in red, two initials in ornamental penwork filled with yellow-brown wash, one of these with a grumpy man's face at the side, some scuffs, edges torn, overall fair condition, in total 205 by 145mm
