The paper is bright, some small stains on a few lvs, but a very attractive copy. Beautiful contemporary red morocco binding, with gilt ornaments on covers and on spine, marbled end-papers, all edges gilt

This work helped illuminate that the Etruscans were pioneers, artists, and inventors that often were overshadowed by the Romans. Most of these vases have since been lost, leaving the illustrations as important depictions of lost artifacts
